Here at CEF we are looking at the closing/ending of a few things. School is ending, clubs will be coming to an end for the season, and the Human Race is almost over. We are excited for all of the areas of opportunity we have had throughout this season and we look forward to all of the new things the next season will bring!
We had such a great time at the Human Race on Saturday! We were thrilled to see all of the people that came out to support their favorite nonprofits! We got to see tons of people and children, goats, radio stations, and even a blind man run the race! If you came out or gave, we would like to take a moment and thank you. The work we are able to do on a daily basis is a direct result of the giving and the volunteering that people do. We see you and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for caring about the souls of children all over the globe! The end of the school year is quickly approaching! The final 9 weeks of the school year has begun, and people are looking forward to what the summer will bring. This ushers in the summer programming we have here at CEF. This is a time when we partner with churches and kids from 12 yrs old to college age to bring the Good News to children in the form of 5 Day Clubs. These clubs happen in churches and places that children can safely gather. They are 5 days of action packed Bible lessons, songs, memory verses and games that children can really get in to and learn valuable lessons. The children serving in the 5 Day Clubs learn valuable character qualities and how to properly present the Gospel as well as leading someone to Christ. These clubs usually last about 1 ½ hours per day. Are you part of a church that would like to host a 5 Day Club? Are you the parent of a child who would like to serve or participate?
