Who are we

Child Evangelism Fellowship is the largest ministry in the world dedicated exclusively to children.  We are in over 200 countries, and last year, shared the Gospel message, face to face with 25.5 million children.  Our mission is to evangelize and disciple children and to establish them in God’s Word and in the local church for Christian growth.  Click here to learn more about CEF international.

The Greater Greensboro Area Chapter serves all of Guilford and Rockingham (NC) counties, offering the following programs:

Good News Club is a weekly club during the school year and is more popular than ever following the Supreme Court victory allowing Good News Club to take place in public schools across America.  Good News Clubs can also be held in other locations – YMCAs, Boys and Girls Clubs, Day Care Centers, parks, homes – any place where children safely gather.

Our summer 5-Day Club outreach takes place over the course of a five day period, offering a unique opportunity for children to interact with teenagers who receive training in the Christian Youth In Action program.

We are an affiliate of Child Evangelism Fellowship and CEF of NC.

Our Vision

The vision of the international ministry of CEF is “Every Child, Every Nation, Every Day.” For the Greater Greensboro, Guilford and Rockingham Chapter, this translates to “Every Child, Every School, Every Day.”

What does this mean?

Every Child – We are committed to reaching every child with the Good News of the Gospel.

Every School – Our goal is to have an After School Good News Club meeting weekly in every school in Guilford and Rockingham Counties.

Every Day – We are committed to leading children to be in God’s Word every day. As children grow in their relationship with the Lord through meditating on His Word, they develop a godly character, which produces much fruit to the glory of God, including spreading the Gospel to their peers.

CEF Partners with Churches

In order to accomplish our goal of reaching every child, every school, every day, CEF partners with churches who adopt a school in their area to provide the school with an After School Good News Club. This outreach may result in the church being able to reach beyond the child to minister to their families.

Currently CEF GGA partners with the following churches to conduct Good News Clubs in nine schools in Guilford and Rockingham counties:

Calvary Church, Greensboro, NC

East Side Baptist Church, Reidsville, NC

Ellisboro Baptist Church, Madison, NC

Gate City Baptist Church, Jamestown, NC

Lawsonville Road Baptist Church, Reidsville, NC

Ruffin Stacey Baptist Church, Ruffin, NC

First Baptist Draper, Eden, NC
